Drip, drip, drip

As she lays her head down at night

All her sadness comes to sight.

For through all the pain she hears,

Comes the slow and steady tears.

Drip, drip, drip

As they slowly trickle down her face,

On to her lips, the salt, she tastes.

She cries for you and she cries for me.

for sadness and anger is all she can see.

Drip, drip, drip

As they fall from her eyes,

Through the sadness she cries.

For she feels so alone

In this world she is shown.

Drip, drip, drip

For all the tears,

Throughout all the years,

Her face has grown worn

And her heart torn.

Drip, drip, drip
