Dreams Within Dreams

There are dreams within dream within dreams, so it seems. I learned this last night in bed. Layers of dreams  upon layers of dreams, all fitting inside my head.  Once, I thought I woke up, but I was back in anther one. Dreams within dreams: it's become a conundrum.  (Who is the one watching them all? Who is the one watching them all?) In one dream I'm short,  in another I'm tall. First dream I fly,  in the next one I fall. (Who is the one watching them all?)  I was just in a dream  where I fell asleep. When I woke, I was here,  so it seems. Not there while asleep,  but right here  and writing this song about dreams within dreams....  (Who is the one watching them all? Who is the one watching them all?)
