Dreams or ...

Dreams or sub-consciousness

1 Corinthians 5:8

So then, let us celebrate the festival, not with the old yeast, the yeast of vice and evil,

but with the bread without yeast, the bread of sincerity and truth.

So Christmas as we thought to know if we assigned it’s time

Where are we vulnerable? Is it not when celebrating?

Christmas joy will soothe the heart and make our senses vague

In this season of remembrance in this sliding civilization

As darkness tries to take advantage of loneliness’ plague

Geared to love and appreciate the lights of the season

To adorn trees and houses and even at times the “church”

The lights mostly imported for a commercial reason

Where they’re from or who made them will protect the purse

If it was produced by slave labor or may captured children

This surely should not make this a “peaceful” soothing thought

Celebrating the feeling good with the well to do is no hindrance

As we feast and dance at the expense that another’s freedom bought

Is it not a fleeting fact that when we meet Jesus in the air

When judgment comes to visit in that long awaited day

That when facts come to light and we call suffering unfair

That our flesh will try to justify as it on others it preyed

When Jesus comes and returns will be not all in feasting

He measures our freedom towards the love He freely supplied

For some maybe left behind for the love, they thought in having,

Was only forms of selfishness from to Salvation completely blind!
