Dreams Delight

In our beautiful sweet dreams delight

Flows on a breeze on a warm summer’s night

On wings we fly to our spirits secret place

Or thinly veil the heavens’ mysterious face

Our hearts deep desire becomes our day

And with thy shining moon we go out to play

Singing the old songs we’ve sung once before

Making me want to stay all the time more

When in some river, that’s overhung with green

The waving moon is most greatly seen

Whilst we relax in the test of every light

With perfect charms and virtue bright

When darkened groves shadows bare

And softened music we can distinctly hear

Till our free souls are pleasantly charmed

Finding all the elements of rage are disarmed

When at last our care, our cries are renewed

Our pleasures finally reached, will no longer be pursued

In our beautiful sweet dreams delight

We float back to thy earth to once again take flight
