The Dreamer's Pain

Like a Child

Imagination lies deep within

Vulnerability, Optimism, Love, Naivety

Dreaming is what keeps us alive

Dreams are the fuel to our journey through life

It is what makes life worth while

Thespians

An Actor

A Dreamer

An idealist

A Performer

A dream that many doubt

You can't do it they say

You are not good enough they say

The voices in my head taunt me

They say dreams are what slowly kill you

It is the hope that tortures you inside

A gnawing in the pit of my stomach

Lack of sleep

Worry engulfs me in its firm grasp

I am afraid that they are right

I am afraid I am worthless

I am afraid I am not good enough

But strength is what makes me carry on

The means are not there

But the hope is a small spark that could become a fire

Therefore what is life, when one does not dream?

Dreams are meant to become reality

We are only granted one life

Then why not strive to make our dreams...

Make our dreams come true
