The dove that saw the crime

There's a bird on the stood near my house

I long to touch it's silky feathers
Such vibrant reds line it's lower body
Like a setting sun
Yet Rising elsewhere
Like a call of despair set on death ears
But a pleasurable sight ta see...
I never hear you coming... I love to see you landing...l
I hate to see you leave...don't go my friend fly with me...
I long to be as free as you...
Yet my caged neighbors oppress me...
Their inadequate mindset makes them unaware I long for their bettering as well...
My house is hell
I need a home...
The dove stained with my brothers blood...
It frightens me too my friend
If I could fly Id leave to...
Jus me and you...
But day turns to night
Like a fly landing in milk
I'll be a spec of black in a see of white...
Losen my hand to make a fist around a pen...
Teach me everything
But first...
Teach me to fly... I'd love to fly...
