Don't You Think?

You say the word,

You think you're funny.

You think you can relate,

A friend rather than an educator.

Poking fun at our classmates

To keep us attentive.

Shame on you,

Disgraceful.

Do you know our history?

Do you know our families?

Do you know what goes on?

Do you ever think about our struggles?

Don't say the harsh word, like a young teenage boy,

Mental illness is not a choice and Rosa Law speaks louder than our silent cries.
