Don't Worry About the Weather

Sat, 02/01/2020 - 17:46 -- AHanson

Drenched and dripping from the downpour

Seeking shelter from the storm

Women whine about ruined hair

Men sigh over soaken suits

Fustrated faces and failed plans

A dreary day drags on

Stomp, splash, a smile

A red raincoat races by

Shimmering in summer's shower

All worries washed away

Choose the cheeriness of a child

An adolescent's aura of adventure

Acceptance of all circumstances

Don't waste your life waiting for rain to dissipate
