Don't Just Sit There

Do something. Don't just sit there.

Twelve months have flown fast. Another year in the past.

You complain. This year sucked.

Did you do something?

Or were you just an observer in your own story?

I won't judge. I won't condemn.

But I did something. I made a change.

Yes, this year was not the best.

Maybe I wanted to bury myself in books.

In other people's stories.

Maybe I did for a while.

But I feel good now. I didn't get stuck.

I was unhappy so I spoke up.

I didn't just sit there. I did something.
