Don't Bully the kid,
He goes through enough at home.
Don't Bully the Kid,
What did he do wrong ?
 
Just nine years old, seeking education,
Everyday he runs home, his true destination.
Innocent as can be, but goes home with scars,
when questioned what happened "I fell hard ".

At home he gets beat, Without a soul to help,
Anything he want, he gets it himself .
No one to run too, No one to tell,
So at home, He lives in his shell.

New day at school, Same situation,
He just sits there and takes it, while loosing patience.
One day he knows he going to reach greatness,
So he just sits there and take it.

He comes home with every week, with honor grades,
But "get out of here" is all his parents say.
Late at night it gets harder, and he cant sleep,
He is so scared, he see's dragons when he counts sheep..

Years later he is no longer looking in the past,
He is about to graduate as the head of his class.
Looks through the crowd, sees nobody supporting,
Which easily made his moment feel shortened.

His parent were unable to pay his tuition,
He searched Loans and grants , he was on a mission.
One day he ran across a scholarship essay,
The topic was bullying and abuse .. He knew what to say.

What did he do wrong?
 
Decade later he got the promotion to be president ,
Moved out the city to a nicer residence.
His parent called, lookjng for help,
Then he remebered, growing up he did it himself.
 
Don't Bully the kid,

Don't Bully the Kid,
What did he do wrong?
 
As he was going through applications, one name stood out
He thought and wondered, What is this about ?
Then there was a brief knock on his door,
It was the face of the bully who would put him on the floor.
 
You shouldnt have bullied the kid,
Now your career is in his hands.
You shouldnt have bullied the kid,
I'm sure now you understand.

Great poem! I couldn't stop reading it even if I wanted to. The rhythm, rhyme, repetition, and diction really protrays this "go-getter" tone that is really inspiring! Please do keep writing on my friend.

Gotta love karma! Loved this. Good message! I can tell you care deeply about the subject. Favorite part was "he sees dragons when he counts sheep" I also love the kids spirit. Even though he had it tough, he faught for what he knew he deserved.

this is very powerful. I loved the message. I got bullied a lot growing up. I developed defense mechanisms to help me cope. When I picked out guys to date I chose the ones I hated the ones I saw bullying others I tried to get them to stop but they wouldn't. I got to experience the bullies life when I came to their houses and saw they had nothing. They were bullying so they could not be bullied and one bully broke down all my defenses. He was simply a man after all and I was a woman. we dated for a long time and it wasn't easy but I gained his trust. he showed me his world. his world was full of a mother who drank so much she forgot she had a kid and a dad who had beat him as a child but was no longer a part of this world but he still looked up to him because of the way his mother would ramble off about him being a great man and wishing he could remember him that way instead of remembering the fat lips given by his hand and the broken arm that he gave him with one swift kick. So while that little boy in your poem suffers so does the little boy tormenting him. i just don't want anyone to forget the bully could be hurting and in pain as well.

I am against bullying. I fought an older teacher before because I don't like her bullying my students. That is the time ur teacher-teacher relationship become sour. It's okay because I cannot tolerate someone, a so-called second parents of our school children bully anyone.
