Are days of length deceiving?
Are nights of pain okay?
Are moments of rest depleting?
Then, why not try to say:
Does sunshine make you frown sometimes?
Do rainbows make you cringe?
Do rhymes and verses sound sublime?
Not even a little tinge?
Is the bed itself a safety blanket?
Does it make the sun go away?
If that's all that hurts, get up for now.
The sun isn't here to stay.
