Do You Ever Realize How Small You Are?
Location
Do you ever realize how small you are?
That you are dust and water
You are bones and blood, frail and broken
That there are so many people-
And you are just one.
That there are 7 billion other creatures just like you
And only so few can even recognize you,
Do you see how small you are?
You are in the middle of infinity
You are on a planet that isn’t all that large,
In a solar system that’s small compared to the
Rest of the galaxies vastness,
You are In a galaxy that is tiny if you look at the universe...
Yet they are all still bigger than you,.
Do you ever realize how small you are?
That you are caught up in Infinity's disaster,
You are a speck in the mass of supernovas,
So tiny
But yet there is moon dust in your lungs,
Stars you took from the sky,
And ever so gently locked in your eyes,
You have calcium in your very bones,
That the iron in your very blood is the crimson wreckage from the universe's chaos,
That every atom of it once helped destroy a massive star,
Your brain consists of nitrogen,
That 93% of that dust that makes you up, is the same as star dust
You are so incredibly small,
Yet you manage to be made out of infinity itself.
That planet that's not all that big, those solar systems that are
Quite tiny, the universe that is never ending- it is all part of you,
Do you ever realize how small you are?
Because you are the middle of infinities disaster,
You are its very master-
Do you see, just how tiny you have become?
Do you see that electricity and potential energy,
Rippling through your body-
You are made of power,
Yet no one knows your name, it's not on their skin
It is not in a book, not in a history lesson
Why?
Because there are 7 billion creatures just as you are,
Drifting in the expanse of space
So, what makes you different?
What makes your tiny body so special?
Perhaps you just have to show the world your potential,
Or maybe you are nothing at all…
Do you realize how small you are?
Honestly, I guess we’re smaller than we thought we were...
