Do we need another?

Matthew 18:20

20 For where two or three are gathered together in My name,

I am there in the midst of them.”

Do we need one another?

Listen to advice ... interpret its meaning

Like the falling rain it refreshes all around

But too much of it gets far beyond the gleaning

If it gets you to a point where danger abounds

What is the gathering of thought without an overflow?

What does accumulation matter with nowhere to go?

It is like having a fortune with no one to share you know

Or like eating a delicious meal deserted and all alone

Why do we need another ... why can’t we be by self?

We know aloneness is a treasure only found by a few

Loneliness can kill you and put your urn on a shelf

For at the end of the day all have to pay their dues

Maybe such is the truth when traveling all a new

Sharing parts of self on the lonely path of time

Few seem to have an appetite or not having a clue

that most are stuffed with intellect burned in the mind
