Do not judge me by the color of my skin

Do not judge me by the color of my skin

Mother

Madre

Um

Ab

Padre

Father

Why are we seen as different if we are the same

We all have a mother and a father

We all cry when sorrow comes

We all laugh when joy flourishes

We all love

We all hate

Yet we are seen different

Illegals

Undocumented Immigrants

Both the same

Yet both different

Words can build us

Words can destroy us

Blacks

Whites

We are different in our own ways

Yet we are all the same

Do not judge me by the color of my skin
