Do not come in His defense to drive a truck through people.

Do not say He told me to, and tear apart their steeple.

Do not come to me with words stolen from His book,

to justify your sinful crimes and all the lives you took.

Do not bring your hate to me when you see two men in love,

two men, women, transgender, non-binary, all of the above.

They deserve, as you and I, his sacred, healing Grace,

and in His everlasting realm, He will reserve their place. 

Do not say it's all for Him and shoot a man who's kneeling 

For he, not you, will receive His special thanks and healing.

And he, not you, will rejoice in everlasting life.
