"Do not be afraid," I say

The dark night swirls around us
"Do not be afraid," I say.
You shake and you shiver,
Frightened yet ecstatic.
A night adventure,
Is filled with surprises.

The Legend of the Night,
An old child's tale,
It grips you tight,
Binding you,
Trapping you.
It locks you away.

I will rescue you
Night afterr night
From the Night.
You will never forget this face,
One that surrounds you with safety.
"Do not be afraid," I say.
