Discovery

Location

Roaming down the dark halls,

Searching for something,

For someone.

Their thoughts intertwined with my own,

I have to find them.

I need to find them.

My pulse is racing, my breath is catching,

My knees are locking, my hands are shaking,

My heart is aching to catch a glimpse.

Just one chance to breathe in their presence.

Closer, always coming closer

I can sense the time is almost here.

My pace quickens

I disreguard all possible doubts.

Until finally,

We crossed paths.

The person I have been searching for.

I found myself.
