the sky spread over the world
without a single, solitary cloud
only pure, deep azure
barely past twilight
the dark of night is beginning to appear
a glossy turquoise balloon
agitated through the air
by a gust of wind
the thin, twirled string dangles behind
in a cobalt dress she stands
it drapes about her legs in folds
hovering over her skin
gently swaying as she searches
for the sapphire bracelet
obscured by the indigo shadows
