Diamonds from Blue Skies

I walk outside to diamonds falling from blue skies.Am I allowed to see such a fantastic sight again?Bleeding from the heavens, tiny teardrops fall.Inside my open palm, they land. And though the rain falls, the sun is bright,so I shade my eyes with my wet hand.Am I the only one to witness this ironic fight?Afraid you are missing the diamonds in the skies,I take you by the hand. Will you please come and see the unusual sight, and, with me,Drown all our worries in diamonds from blue skies?
