a devastating love

It's heart wrenching..
When you put your all into someone, and you decide to trust again and your trust is just shattered .
Everything you thought you knew was a lie, and you believed everything he said because his eyes were trusting, and his lips spoke with such honesty.
There was never a guy that took your hand, looked you in the eyes and spoke so softly... sweet nothings to you.
Of course you soaked it all up, this was the difference you had been waiting for.
So yes , I shed a single tear and not because I'm heartbroken or I miss you, but because everything I did miss for the equivalent of months was a lie.
Every " I love you ", whispered in my ear was fatal. Another blow to my already shattered heart.
There was no fore warning.
I was the epitome of delusion, and all because I dare to be loved by the devil himself.
