Icy tendrils extend over my eyes,

freezing them shut

with cold darkness.

There is no light.


Spindly fingers entwine around my neck,

squeezing tighter

and tighter

and tighter.


Air escaping,

forced out of my collapsing lungs.

There is no air.

There is no light.

And soon,

there is no me.
