Depression sits alone in a darkened room,
He knows not time, nor sun, nor moon,
He does not move, he does not speak,
His tongue is heavy, his limbs are weak,
His lips never move to form a smile,
Every thought in his head is vile,
Alone he sits and alone he'll stay,
Never to know the peace of night or sweet kiss of day.
