Defiled
Location
She sits upon dirty sheets
Sheets that smell like sweat and dust
Lewd lust swims in the air like flies
The boss’s voice rings from outside
Only thirteen, he says
The client agrees with gusto
She hears the money counted
And the doorknob turns
He comes in with heavy, drunk steps
He smells of cigarettes and looks like soot
His belly hangs over his work-torn jeans
And he smiles that smile all too familiar
What’s left of her clothes, he’s torn away
His calloused hands run over her tense body
His breathes are heavy and lustful
And she wants to run, to stab, to cry
His heavy body weighs down on her
Her breathes come sharp, silent pleas
Sharp whiskers scratch her neck
The boundaries shatter again
Soon he’s satisfied
And leaves without words
She’s naked and bruised
There’s nothing left of her but a body
It’s her fifth time today
But there’s much more to go
It’s been two years already
And many more to come
