Deep within

Romans 8:16

16 The Spirit himself bears witness to our spirit that we are God’s children.

My body being the temple ... where the Spirit resides

is divided into three components ... all different in size.

The temple mount when entered ... showed the outer court

where the world seemed gathered ... to sell some sacrifice.

Our body seems the outer court ... seen by the entire world

where our lifestyle is observed ... and becomes an open book

to be read by everyone ... as priorities twist and curl

and folks around get opportunity ... to give us an inside look?

The Holy place is the next step ... where God observes us

just the ones “elected” ...  who are of Abraham’s faith.

Here is where our behavior ... and attitude gets measured

in our individual priesthood ... in appreciation of His Grace.

Next, the Holy of Holies ... the purest peaceful place

Spirit to spirit ... we reason with Christ One on one

Here we come together ... with Jesus face to face

discussing my walk-in Life ... and what should be done.

Pure and clean in spirit... untouched the Fall

The inner man that I am ... with the Lover of my heart

Held real tight by Jesus Christ ... who is my All in All

with the Holy Spirit in agreement ... supplying His part.

Night and day in time ... He groans intercessions

to God our Father  ... about conditions of my soul

About my body’s failure ... and lack of progression

in godliness and commitment ... missing all my goals.
