DECADENCE DISMAY

Charred cinders of memory, savant static in the brain,

Sparks a blazon drama still struggling to regain.

Shocked with sudden flashes of inert paralysis,

Submerged deep in the mind of stark analysis.

Silent latent prose draws logos photo guise,

Woeless opine thought, too scarce to realize.

Joyful past encounters of gregarious display,

Are now deserted scatterings of decadence dismay.

An epilogue containing unresponsive worth,

Captured and imprisoned in the midst of this earth.

Linked to one another in ordinal steps they dance,

Trailing over-sight within a travail trance.

Through quasi-phantom slumber drifting unaware,

A fallow hole in space, yet unable to repair.
