Decade of the Blooming

Attending is the decade of the blooming
The lighthearted Sundew rays, of the unassuming
Candy- coated nectar glistens from the Aloe plant
And the stargazer now will begin his chant
We are the young, the buds of the Oriental poppy
Those that are lost among the cherry blossom copy
Candied Violin Dahlias blush
When the child Calla Lily has her first crush
Bird of paradise flourishes the pavement way
To keep the voodoo lily hidden they’re at bay
We are a bed of Green Irish Lily
We grow vibrant unless we get chilly.
Enclosed in a giant world
This oasis belongs to the boy and the girl.
