Death To Lust

many search for love under the covers
each day they are given many decisions to make
one must seek something other then self to please
this notion in thought should knock you to your knees

Hugh Hefner dedicated a lifetime to lust
building up the playboy mansion with glitz
getting caught up in the mix
People seek self to please

lust was never intended to be love
sent from the arms of God above
we lose touch of reality get off course
hearts being torn from pornography

living in a land of false make believe
we can take stock in wholesome morality
many put that book right back on the shelf
death to lust in are twentieth century world in a rush

we each must make a decision to take are thoughts captive
to give them over to the obedience of God's control
stop flirting with sex, drugs and rock and roll
take control before society gets the best of you

Satan's laughing spreads his wings
along life's vice of lust and things
believe in your higher power
next to you get the thought take a nice cold shower

Have power to resist self control with your vessel
