I wish I could rewind my mind
Back to the time the words were aligned
Waiting to come out, prepared to speak...

But my mouth seemed broken,
It would not open.
These words were caught in my throat.
I began to choke.

I could not cough, I could not hurl,
Until those words began to unfurl.

In my brain,
From a train,
There they came.
And then I wrote!

All these stupid words I had not spoke!
Slapped them down onto the paper!
It was only now,
There was no later.
The date was here, the words were due,
And here I bring them, all for you...

Enjoi.
