Dear Love,

Hello, how have you been?

It's been so long since we've talked.

I miss your voice, I miss your laugh.

It has slowly become a stranger to me.

But never will it disappear, it's like a tattoo.

Permanent and artistic.

I look at the skies and realize that

Promises weren't made to be kept.

They were meant to be broken, ripped apart.

The clouds before me kiss the sky, so sweet like you used to kiss me.

And I can't wait to hold your hand once more, as you stare back at me with chocolate eyes.

Baby you and I are like coffee and cream.

We blend, we mix, we spin.

And I know we're falling apart,

We kinda ended up messy.

Like the Tenerife sea, blue and infinite,

We will never die out.

For our love has been the journey

That can keep a candle lit forever.

Meet me for coffee,

When my tears dry up and your hand misses mine.

I'll be waiting like I promised.
