Dear Kelso

Dear Kelso,

You walked in the room

I looked at you underwhelmed with low expectations.

Suspecting another careless public school teacher,

with free roam thanks to tenure.

But then you opened your mouth.

I remember it like yesterday.

You uttered the most cognizant,

The most elevating,

The most enriching,

The most eye-opening,

The most perceptive 6 words I had ever heard,

"Why does government matter? It doesn't."

Thank you.
