Dear God please allow me to follow your path of glory
I can’t seem to plow through my issues in my life story
It’s time to disembowel theories that are set before me
All I see is a foul history and a bleak future all too gory
The Bible does bore me & I am truly embarrassed by it
How can I have a revival when all I see is pain and riots
I seem to be in denial, can I be religious or even buy it
Love is truly vital & it’s why I know I shouldn’t be quite
When it comes to church I should try it and not be lazy
For what it is worth I do see the love God brings daily
I do rant & curse at life because it can really faze me
My vision is in reverse and I am tired of all this hating
Social Media is filled with degrading people and racists
Too many are killed and fleeing cities and other places
We hate taxes & bills while other die & become faceless
Let’s all tap into our goodwill, show love & be gracious
Many will hate this because I really believe in peace
Plenty will fight this because they believe in the streets
Empty pleas come quiet like those who are deceased
Hefty beat downs are frequent by bullies & the police
Whatever you believe, you should still have more faith
We all can achieve things and be positive with grace
Let’s not deceive those who worship God & still pray
Let’s all receive Gods love and have a better today
