Dear Depression,

Dear Depression,

You are a monster.

You take everything;

        a beautiful flower;

        a spectacular sunset;

        an amazing person;

    And Destroys them.

What caused you to hate?

To make vibrant colors bland?

You made the girl hate;

        herself; her beauty; her innocence.

You made the boy doubt;

        himself; his strength; his love

You are sick.

You are undeserving.

I will escape you

   and help others too.

You, Depression, are warned.
