Deafening Silence

Tue, 12/02/2014 - 11:15 -- mallone

The deafening silence

it cascades itself over an empty room

deaf

it bends itself into a dark corner

deaf

it fills a single teardrop

deaf

this silence encases the mere entity of some

deaf

yet many take no regard

the gift of sound
