The Days of the Week

The Days go by

And our mistakes become bigger

Our giants become stronger

Our consequences become longer

The Days go by

And we make even more mistakes

More choices

More decisions

That determine our fate

The Days go by

And the challenges we face

Become new and bigger every day

Staring at us right in the eye

And all we can do is sigh

The Days go by

And we wish we say

The things that haunt us

And create such pain

To no longer regret

Have no more doubts

But have courage in our hearts

And to speak with pure mouths

To love and never fear

For the future that is coming

But now The Days are gone

And there is no more worrying

Me
Our world
