Dawn Dancing

No longer can I be myself
So I sit broken on a warm spring weekend
As every little thing seems to burn to a crisp.
My legs are restless and torn from the constant shaking.

Picked a fight with a soft spoken broken child
Because I can
-Because I can.

Dance with me until the sun goes down sweet boy.
Lay me down on the soft ground so I can rest my heavy eyes.
Make the monsters go away,
Protect me from the horror.

Dance Dawn Dance.
I want to sit you upon on my shelf.
Be my little figurine, my treasure for eternity.
You may just be my hero.
