Darkness feared and revered.

There's a time

and a place.

Where nothing is as it seems.

There's a fear

and a cry.

A sound that nobody hears.

An angel in the light.

A devil in the dark.

But how is it that monsters hide

in the light?

Cause the light,

I fear.

And the dark,

I embrace,

The light is where hurt and tears apply.

The dark is where I escape into the night.

Escape from monsters in the light.

Seen as true, seen as light.

Darkness feared and revered.

Ironic, isn't it?

That the dark I used to fear.

Is the barrier that protects.

The monsters I ran from,

are now my friends.

For the most dangerous monsters,

live and walk among us.

Seen as angels in the light.

Wow this is really good, I like how you used the words 'light' and 'dark' to emphasize your point somewhat. I like this~ >w<
