The Darkness

Location

I creep forward, advancing toward the dark hand that beacons me

It motions for my advancement, yet my instinct restrains the movement of my feet

Tugging and yanking at my weak knees, the hand forces me onward

The closer I come to reaching the deepest of the darkness, the more conflicted I become

Is it worth loosing the life I have worked so hard to create?

I feel its force, stronger as each second passes

It is time

Time now, to choose between enduring the impending sadness or letting the darkness take the pain away

I must decide
