you said there was a light at the end of every tunnel
I found no photon in mine

I saw infinite crumbling darkness
where you said there would be shine

you say something good will come of all of this very soon
but all ive experienced is a kind of pain with no wounds 

i tried to believe you when you said there was hope
i even tried to imagine a glow at the end of this rope 

i stopped walking through this tunnel
no will to move on
all is lost, everything is gone
