Dark Road

She left like a thief in the night, only leaving behind

The faintest touch on my heart, which i thought would never start.

She walks deep into the dark and crosses roads without looking both ways.

She glances to her left because she knows somethings not right.

The stars illuminate and fall into her sight she stumbles only to have me pick her up.

We walk down the road from the darkness into the sunrise still unsure of the direction of our endeavor.
