Dancing Stars

If you stare at the clouds for long enough

You'll surely see them move

Even the stars dancing high above

Still miss a step or two

Now I'm still young but I'm growing up

I guess the future rests on us

We depend on its existence

One mistake could screw it up

That hardens us to do our best

Pack our schedules to seem perfect

I'm all in for that sunshine one day

But I'm not sure how much I can take

The greatest of us all complain

When they don't get a perfect grade

We've studied hard and well enough

But we often forget the truth

Each of the stars that dance high above

Have messed up just like you.
