Dancers In The Silence

Location

And everything I saw
was beautiful;
I knew that everything was artificial,
but in that moment,
I didn’t even care.

I saw as the light shone
upon the glittering gold
in the air around me.
What felt like everlasting life.
There was dancing;
and everyone moved as though
they were already angels.
Like they were
invincible;
slowly,
and using every piece of their art
just to move.

And the craziest part?
There was no music.
Just broken humans,
dressed in black and white,
and perfectly swaying
in their graceful imperfection.
