A DAnce in the Moon

Running out of time,

I lose my train of thought.

In the dark there is but one light,

the soft glimmer of the moon.

Within the gentle glow  I find a friend

and together we dance.

Glistening in the sky stars dance.

They step in perfect time.

consumed by only one thought,

bodies entwined in the pale moon,

when in the eyes of a monster I find a friend.

I find beauty and love inside my friend.

Every cell in our bodies dance

onbeat for the first time.

Softly your lips kiss my every thought.

In the darkness of your heart I spark a light.

Nothing's better than darkness against the moon

You are my darkness and I your moon.

In me you’ll always find a friend.

And if ever you should want to dance,

for you there’s always time.

My one thought

is of a single light.

A twinkling light,

the heart of the moon.

To find a friend

with whom I may dance.

We’ll take our time

to think our thought.

Of you I thought.

A lovely light.

The call of the moon,

is answered by a friend.

Now may we dance

until the end of tim?

The thought of my friend.

The moon a spotlight.

Our dance is a dream this time.
