Daily Despair

Eyes burnt and veins red,

By 3am dreams of life are dead,

Is that a trumpet I hear?

The sound of the end, freedom from despair,

Take me to thee, take me please,

This pain hunts me, I’m under attack

 there is no release,

6am, they did say I was delusion

 it was only a lie,

Revoked, was my wish to die,

By 6:12 I found a rhythm,

Afraid to hear the noise

silence may have hidden,

Strain placed again on these weary feet,

To once more feel a sense of defeat,

6:30 they say now march today to reality,

Still in the hopes of living a fallacy.
