The Curious Child

Thu, 11/08/2012 - 23:12 -- imabbas

The curious child roaming around ready to learn.
Asking many questions, some I do not even know how to answer.
The way this child runs like an Olympian runner.
Sometimes jumps on someone in surprise or shock.
This child climbs on top of tables, chairs, couches, desk and up the stairs, like a happy cat.
Playing hide and seek, the child hides quietly, patiently and smiling under a table, like a shy cat.
This child wants attention and will do anything to get it.
Jumping on the bed, so high almost reaching the ceiling, even though the child is very short.
Telling the child to stop is like saying no fun is allowed, so the child is still jumping on the bouncy bed.
But, what I love about this curious child is that lovely warm tight hug that feels like a warm blanket.
