Crossroads
Your queries find paths you’ve before crossed,
Again, once so easily forgotten, am I?
Was your heart and soul so easily lost?
Each touch and drop of poison only to imply,
To lead, to feel, to grasp for the sky.
The one held so high, to tumble and drown,
An open field I will lay, somewhere nearby,
Along the plains, always looking down.
I walk along an unknown path before me,
A world ahead, finally to be free.
