Crazy, Lovely, Perfect

I think I’ll wear a tutu

And ribbons in my hair

Zebra stripe pajamas

With sparkles everywhere

Pretty coral leggings

A stripy cardigan

Polka-dotted flips-flops

Where do I begin?

Too-big heart shaped sunglasses

My favorite ruffled skirt

Rain boots with dinosaurs

A rainbow patterned kilt

I may look like a preschooler

Who’s barley more than four

But I won’t be bothered

By what I look like anymore

I may be tall and skinny

I may have too wide hips

I may be short and chubby

I may have narrow lips

I might be an A-cup

I might have real big feet

But I am just as beautiful

As every girl you’ll meet

So no more crazy diets

Shut up society

Now I can love my crazy self

And have fun being me
