Questioning everything I ever had, was told,
Saw, as two roads diverged but by hatred,
by lack of understanding,
by no other reason than to be different
on one side stood red, for all who bleed red
the other side blue, for water runs through us all
fire and fiery hot tempers
water and ice, and hearts like your ex's.
They gather together and beat their fists
They think not of the people, not for them nay but for their own self interests
Their own self-righteous gains,
The could have beens and should have beens rotting away
And oh how they wail like children
Both sides fearing compromise
But with such opposing views how could they stand together?
When divided is all they have ever known, and all they ever will be.
