The Crack in my Heart

Of all the memories that we share

You turned your back and I walked away

The crack in my heart widens, but you don't care

You putting on my make up and me fixing your hair

Holding close to what each other say

Of all the memories that we share

The clothing off my back I give, you constantly tear

Used, then tossed aside like childs play

The crack in my heart widens, but you don't care

Bandaging each others wounds with care

Hours of laughing, brightening days of grey

Of all the memories that we share

My aching soul broken beyond repair

Lies spill out in a constant spray

The crack in my heart widens, but you don't care

Waiting to hear your voice, asking in prayer

The sun wakes and sleeps another day

Of all the memories that we share

The crack in my heart widens...and you don't even care
