Connections

1 Peter 2:17

17 Honor all people, love the family of believers, fear God, honor the king.

Connections

We are bound together … this we understand.

Somehow united ... you know person to person

But in the spiritual realm ... we can hardly see this

Being bound as one ... is far above our mental reason

To stray in the flesh we comprehend ... but in the spirit we can’t.

Is not the spirit dead or alive ... a sure reality?

The flesh can drag the spirit down ... but it cannot contain it.

I know it can surely influence ... and show me a fatality.

Ezekiel 13:3

This is what the sovereign Lord says: Woe to the foolish prophets who follow their own spirit but have seen nothing!

Hoping it comes true as they’re talking fast in circles

About peace where there’s none, proclaiming to have visions

Reaching for the fool within misleading the ones like self

Baking in the sun and filled with often vaguely derisions

Taking actions inside the will independent from the Holy Spirit

Sliding down the mountain while reaching for the top

Heading for the crevice that they certainly will inherit

In the state where the dumb and blind are trying to catch up.
