Congratulations

Dear Me,

I am so proud of you. You finsihed off your third semester of college. Yes, you have two more years of school, but you've made it thus far despite all of the trials and tribulaions you've been through. You are the first in your family to go to college and I am writing this poem to let you know you will graduate and even make it to law school. You could have went back to New Orleans, Louisiana and maintain a job, but literally fight for your life everyday, but instead you have made the decision to travel over 300 miles with no family, just the grit mentality and a couple of dollars in your bank account. And when you go home, you will go back with pride and a degree. So yes, be proud of yourself and remain humble and hungry.

Sincerly,

Christian (me) M.
